OnSeason is building the distribution infrastructure for the vacation rental industry. Our API powers distribution for 40+ travel tech companies, and our PMS partners include Guesty, Apaleo, Mews, Oracle's Opera and 35+ others. Our latest product is an AI-powered website builder that lets vacation rental companies launch high-converting direct booking sites without writing a line of code.
We're a small, product-obsessed team in Sofia, backed by Eleven Ventures. We're hiring a junior engineer who wants to grow faster than any job description can keep up with.
What you will actually do
- 01
Start with well-scoped pieces of the platform and earn bigger ones. The path from "fix this endpoint" to "own this domain" is measured in months here, not years, if you're hungry enough to walk it.
- 02
Ship early and often. Data models, API surfaces, UI, tests, deploys. We'd rather you break something small and learn than wait for permission.
- 03
Flag before you ship, ask before you're stuck. That's a skill, not a weakness.
- 04
Learn across the stack: Next.js / Drizzle / Postgres on the product side, NestJS / Prisma / queue infra on the integration side.
How we work with AI
We use agents heavily and expect you to as well, but we are not hiring a prompter.
Agents will let you ship far above your experience level. That's the opportunity and the trap. When the code looks like magic, you dig until it isn't.
The instinct to double-check the model is what we're hiring for.
You will fit if
You're hungry. Not "motivated" on a CV: actually hungry. You build things nobody asked for, read source code for fun, and are annoyed by your own knowledge gaps.
You've written TypeScript and shipped something real: a side project, a freelance gig, a student build with actual users. Proof of appetite beats years.
You want feedback that stings a little, because that's the fastest way up.
You will not fit if
You want a ticket queue handed to you.
You're looking for a 9-to-5. Early-stage work expands to fill your ambition.
You need remote: this role is hybrid, in the office every week.
"AI-native" means "I let AI write it and ship it" to you.
You expect a formal training program. You'll learn by doing real work next to people who review it hard.
